Flexible volunteer roles that help tell our story and protect the place we love.
The Carmel Valley Association is seeking volunteers to help with its Communications Committee and new Natural and Cultural Heritage Committee. Volunteers can help identify and write stories for the quarterly newsletter, and support efforts to protect and celebrate Carmel Valley’s natural ecosystems and cultural heritage. Opportunities are flexible and can be tailored to your interests, skills, and available time.
Communications Committee
- Description of Work: Identifying and writing stories for the quarterly newsletter.
- Training and Qualifications: Awareness of community activities; good writing skills.
- Commitment Time: Varies according to assignment.
- Day and Time of Meetings: Meets quarterly.
Natural & Cultural Heritage Committee
- Help protect, restore, and sustain Carmel Valley’s natural ecosystems and cultural heritage.
- Help understand and celebrate the social, spiritual, and economic benefits they provide to this and future generations of valley residents and visitors.
- Highlight and strengthen the crucial and increasingly threatened linkages between nature and people throughout the Carmel Valley -- past, present, and future.
Volunteer opportunities are flexible and can be tailored to your interests, skills, and time commitments.
